When timing matters.Get a clear plan.

When a part, shipment or piece of equipment is holding up the next stage of your business, speed needs a workable plan. DP Moving & Storage assesses time-sensitive freight for dedicated transport across Florida and the Southeast, with longer lower-48 routes reviewed on request. We align cargo readiness, equipment, route and receiving access before committing to the movement.

A line of box trucks ready for transport

Selective by design

We accept projects where the cargo, route, people and operating plan fit the standard of work we intend to deliver.

Details before dispatch

Access, handling, equipment, release instructions and receiving responsibilities are worked through before the job.

Direct accountability

An agreed scope, a DP contact and an in-house crew keep responsibility clear from planning to handoff.

The DP approach

The right project. The right plan. No guesswork.

We are selective about the work we accept because the quality of the result begins with the conditions behind it. Cargo, access, equipment, crew, schedule and the client’s expectations must fit a plan we can stand behind. We ask detailed questions, resolve uncertainty and define responsibility before the job begins.

That approach serves clients who value preparation as much as execution. If the brief changes, we review the effect before adding work. A clear acceptance process protects the project, the property, the people handling it and the standard of service you expect.

Experience

Experience across demanding operating environments.

Our team’s experience includes work involving Cleveland Clinic, Ashley Furniture, Caterpillar, Brooks Xpress, Sunbelt Xpress, Amazon, high-grade engine builders and The Trump Organization. Every new assignment is reviewed on its own requirements, with the scope and responsibilities confirmed before acceptance.

Expedited Parts & Equipment Delivery

What we can build into your project.

Build the service around the complete project, from collection and receiving through the final placement or release. Each stage has a defined scope, handling plan and point of responsibility.

Operational parts & supplies

Move accepted boxed parts, commercial supplies and replacement components between suppliers, businesses and project sites. Provide packed dimensions, weights and any fragile or restricted characteristics so the handling plan matches what is actually being collected.

Equipment delivery

Coordinate suitable equipment that fits the agreed box-truck and handling setup. We review loading and unloading methods, liftgate or pallet-jack suitability and who is responsible for making the equipment ready. Delivery does not include specialist installation or commissioning unless separately arranged.

Dedicated direct transport

Plan a truck and in-house crew around the accepted shipment or delivery program. Direct transport can reduce unnecessary handoffs; route length, safe operating requirements, receiving hours and loading time still govern what can responsibly be promised.

Time-sensitive final delivery

Bring the cargo to the right receiving contact and agreed point of delivery. A service counter, warehouse dock, jobsite and furnished property need different access and handling instructions. Placement, unpacking or additional crew requirements are assessed in advance.

A strong brief makes a stronger plan.

What is moving and why the arrival time matters • Exact pickup and destination addresses and business hours • Confirmed ready time, requested arrival and firm cutoff • Packed dimensions, weights, piece count and packaging • Loading/unloading method, site restrictions and receiving contact • Decision-maker contact and approved alternatives if timing changes

Operational planning

Define the deadline that actually matters.

A requested arrival time is only one part of an expedited plan. We need to know when the goods will be packed and released, how long loading takes, whether the recipient can accept delivery and what happens if a key dependency changes. Separate a preferred arrival from a firm operational cutoff so we can evaluate the route intelligently.

We review the cargo, equipment, crew availability and route together before agreeing the service. Share alternative receiving windows or an approved contact who can make a decision if circumstances change. An urgent request is handled with clear commitments, not an automatic same-day or round-the-clock promise.

Before the truck arrives

Clear details.
A coordinated handoff.

Every accepted project moves through a clear sequence: assess the work, confirm responsibility, prepare the cargo and site, execute the agreed handling and close the handoff. The details below make that process specific to your shipment.

  1. Share your project

Tell us what is moving, its packed dimensions and weight, readiness time, firm deadline, pickup and delivery contacts and unloading method.

  2. Review access & handling

Confirm site permissions, receiving contacts, loading and unloading arrangements and suitable equipment.

  3. Agree the scope

We confirm availability, the work included and an estimate before the job is accepted.

  4. Coordinate the transport

Prepare goods for the agreed collection and keep the receiving contact available for the planned handoff.

  5. Complete the handoff

We complete the agreed delivery, transfer or storage service and document the handoff as arranged.

Protection & documentation

Priority service still follows a handling plan.

Urgency is not a reason to skip packaging, access or securement checks. The pickup plan identifies the accepted pieces, their condition-documentation requirements and the loading method. Heavy or irregular items need accurate weights and dimensions; photographs help explain shape and packaging but do not replace measurements.

The receiving contact should be ready for the agreed handoff and know what equipment or staff the destination must provide. Changes to the cargo, route or requested work are reviewed with your DP contact so the impact on timing, handling and price is clear before additional work begins.

Information & responsibility

Clear information. Accountable people.

Your project begins with a structured online inquiry covering the route, timing, cargo and handling requirements. Your DP contact works through the details with you, and the agreed estimate records the service and pricing. For the physical work, a crew lead provides an on-site point of contact.

We agree the communication and documentation needed for the project, including receiving instructions, schedule coordination and the handoff record. Send changes through your DP contact so the plan can be reviewed before work changes. Please keep passwords, access credentials and sensitive security instructions out of the public inquiry form; arrange any necessary site-access information directly with the team.

A place to hold the project together

Connect the stages. Keep responsibility clear.

Receiving, private storage and final delivery can be coordinated as part of a single project plan. We agree the receiving location, inspection scope, holding period and release instructions before goods arrive, then align onward delivery with site readiness.

Coverage & delivery programs

Southeast focus. Routes built around the project.

DP is Florida based, serving projects across Florida and assessing dedicated routes throughout the Southeast and the lower 48 states. We plan around the complete journey: supplier, terminal, venue, property, receiving point and final placement, rather than treating a home-base address as the boundary of the service.

Single deliveries, multi-stop routes and recurring programs can be reviewed. Exact origins, destinations, operating windows and site requirements determine the route and resource plan. Receiving and storage are coordinated at the location agreed in your estimate; regional transport does not imply a warehouse in every market.

Planning your project

Details that make a difference.

Expedited availability is confirmed per job. No automatic 24/7 or same-day guarantee.

Call our team
Is same-day or overnight delivery available?

It can be assessed for the specific route and shipment. Availability is confirmed before booking; this service does not promise 24/7 dispatch or an automatic same-day response. Send readiness and deadline information first so we can assess a realistic plan.

What makes dedicated transport different?

The truck and in-house crew are planned around the accepted shipment or route program. That allows the pickup, travel and final handling to be considered together, with a direct DP contact and agreed service at the receiving point.

Can you collect machinery or very heavy equipment?

Send the actual packed dimensions and weights, lifting points where relevant and the proposed loading method. We accept work that fits the equipment and handling plan. Oversized machinery, rigging, hazardous materials and specialist lifting are not included in this service.

How do you handle schedule changes?

Tell your DP contact immediately if readiness, receiving hours or the route changes. We review the operational effect and confirm changes to the agreed work, timing or price. A new destination or extra stop is a scope change, even when the shipment is urgent.

Can you support recurring urgent deliveries?

We can review a recurring program based on typical cargo, routes, order frequency, receiving conditions and required notice. Agreeing an operating plan is more useful than assuming every urgent request can be accepted on the same terms.

What information speeds up an estimate?

A complete route, ready time, deadline, cargo list, packed dimensions, weights and loading details. Include the name and number of the people releasing and receiving the freight, plus any permissions or appointment requirements.

How do you decide whether a project is the right fit?

We review the cargo, route, access, handling, timing and requested outcome before accepting the work. We want the resources, responsibilities and expectations aligned in a plan we can execute properly. If something essential is unresolved, we address it with you before a commitment is made.

How do you manage project information and changes?

Your structured inquiry captures the starting requirements. Your DP contact coordinates the agreed scope, timing and handoff information, with a crew lead for the physical work. Tell us what records or updates your project needs during planning. Changes to inventory, access or requested services are reviewed for their effect on the work, timing and price before additional work begins.
