Shore to marina · Carefully coordinated

Ready for the water.Delivered shoreside.

Yacht interiors, refit materials, and shoreside furnishings need a delivery plan that accounts for more than a street address. DP Moving & Storage provides carefully scoped receiving, storage, transportation, and white-glove handling for yacht owners, captains, management teams, designers, and marine project coordinators. From a single furniture delivery to a staged interior refresh, we organize the land-side work around the vessel's schedule and the site's requirements. Our Florida base supports projects throughout the Southeast, with longer routes reviewed individually for fit, timing, and access.

A line of box trucks ready for transport

Selective by design

We accept projects where the cargo, route, people and operating plan fit the standard of work we intend to deliver.

Details before dispatch

Access, handling, equipment, release instructions and receiving responsibilities are worked through before the job.

Direct accountability

An agreed scope, a DP contact and an in-house crew keep responsibility clear from planning to handoff.

The DP approach

The right project. The right plan. No guesswork.

We are selective about the work we accept because the quality of the result begins with the conditions behind it. Cargo, access, equipment, crew, schedule and the client’s expectations must fit a plan we can stand behind. We ask detailed questions, resolve uncertainty and define responsibility before the job begins.

That approach serves clients who value preparation as much as execution. If the brief changes, we review the effect before adding work. A clear acceptance process protects the project, the property, the people handling it and the standard of service you expect.

Yacht & Marine Logistics

What we can build into your project.

Build the service around the complete project, from collection and receiving through the final placement or release. Each stage has a defined scope, handling plan and point of responsibility.

Receiving and storage before delivery

Bring furnishings and project materials together before they reach the marina or yard. We can receive agreed shipments, document visible condition, and hold items until the project is ready for delivery. A clear receiving list helps identify what has arrived, what remains outstanding, and which pieces belong in each delivery phase. Packaging, inspection needs, and storage duration are established in the scope.

Coordinated shoreside transportation

Our box-truck service can move suitable furniture, boxed goods, and interior project materials between suppliers, storage, residences, marinas, and shipyards. We review dimensions, loading requirements, parking, and the handoff point before confirming the job. Delivery timing is coordinated with the designated captain, project manager, or site contact so the crew arrives with a practical unloading plan.

White-glove furniture handling

Furniture placement, unpacking, and packaging removal can be included where access and site rules allow. We plan protection for floors, doorways, and surrounding furnishings along the agreed route. Onboard handling requires advance approval and a review of gangways, stairs, clearances, and vessel conditions. The written scope identifies where our responsibility begins and ends, including any handoff to vessel or yard personnel.

Phased refit and interior projects

Keep incoming deliveries aligned with the work happening onboard. We can structure separate receiving, storage, release, and delivery stages for a furniture replacement or interior refresh. Removal of existing pieces, return trips, and simple assembly are discussed individually. When a project requires crane work, rigging, specialist installation, or yard-operated equipment, those responsibilities must be assigned before the handling plan is approved.

A strong brief makes a stronger plan.

Operational planning

Plan around the vessel and the site

A successful marine delivery starts with an accurate inventory and a clear destination. Share item dimensions, packaging details, photographs of difficult pieces, and the vessel's expected location. We also need the marina or yard contact, permitted delivery hours, gate procedures, and the point where goods will transfer from the truck. A berth number alone rarely describes the full handling route.

Your DP contact and crew lead work from the agreed plan. Projects are accepted selectively after we assess the freight, route, schedule, and access requirements. If the vessel moves, a work window changes, or access differs from the original information, the plan may need to change. Additional handling or revised work is discussed for approval before proceeding.

Before the truck arrives

Clear details.
A coordinated handoff.

Every accepted project moves through a clear sequence: assess the work, confirm responsibility, prepare the cargo and site, execute the agreed handling and close the handoff. The details below make that process specific to your shipment.

Protection & documentation

Clear access, condition, and handoff controls

We document visible condition at agreed checkpoints and identify concerns that need attention before the next stage. Photos, item descriptions, and delivery instructions help establish a shared record. Concealed damage, manufacturer defects, and the contents of unopened packaging require different inspection arrangements; those expectations should be settled before receiving begins.

Marinas, shipyards, and restricted facilities control their own access. Required credentials, escorts, insurance documentation, and onboard permissions must be checked for the specific assignment. We do not assume unrestricted access or that every crew member holds every credential. Where placement is included, the job concludes with an agreed review of the work and a clear handoff to the designated contact.

Information & responsibility

Clear information. Accountable people.

Your project begins with a structured online inquiry covering the route, timing, cargo and handling requirements. Your DP contact works through the details with you, and the agreed estimate records the service and pricing. For the physical work, a crew lead provides an on-site point of contact.

We agree the communication and documentation needed for the project, including receiving instructions, schedule coordination and the handoff record. Send changes through your DP contact so the plan can be reviewed before work changes. Please keep passwords, access credentials and sensitive security instructions out of the public inquiry form; arrange any necessary site-access information directly with the team.

A place to hold the project together

Connect the stages. Keep responsibility clear.

Receiving, private storage and final delivery can be coordinated as part of a single project plan. We agree the receiving location, inspection scope, holding period and release instructions before goods arrive, then align onward delivery with site readiness.

Coverage & delivery programs

Southeast focus. Routes built around the project.

DP is Florida based, serving projects across Florida and assessing dedicated routes throughout the Southeast and the lower 48 states. We plan around the complete journey: supplier, terminal, venue, property, receiving point and final placement, rather than treating a home-base address as the boundary of the service.

Single deliveries, multi-stop routes and recurring programs can be reviewed. Exact origins, destinations, operating windows and site requirements determine the route and resource plan. Receiving and storage are coordinated at the location agreed in your estimate; regional transport does not imply a warehouse in every market.

Call our team
Do you transport yachts or boats?

This service covers land-side logistics for furnishings and suitable project materials. Vessel transport, towing, launching, and lifting are separate specialist operations and are outside this service.

Can your team deliver onboard?

Onboard handling may be included after the route, vessel conditions, permissions, and site requirements are reviewed. Some assignments end at a designated shoreside handoff point. The accepted scope will make that distinction clear.

Can you receive purchases from several suppliers?

Yes, receiving and storage can be scoped around multiple suppliers. Provide purchase references, expected quantities, arrival dates, and release instructions so the receiving plan matches the delivery sequence.

Do you work outside the Treasure Coast?

Yes. We review marine logistics projects across the Southeast and suitable longer routes. Acceptance depends on the actual locations, load, timing, and handling requirements rather than a single-city service boundary.

What if the yard requires specific credentials?

Send the requirements during planning, including any TWIC, escort, or vendor-access rules. We review what the assignment requires before confirming personnel and access arrangements; credentials should never be assumed.

Can you remove old furniture during delivery?

Removal, storage, return transport, or another agreed disposition can be reviewed as part of the project. Tell us what is leaving, where it must go, and whether its removal affects access for incoming pieces.

How do you decide whether a project is the right fit?

We review the cargo, route, access, handling, timing and requested outcome before accepting the work. We want the resources, responsibilities and expectations aligned in a plan we can execute properly. If something essential is unresolved, we address it with you before a commitment is made.

How do you manage project information and changes?

Your structured inquiry captures the starting requirements. Your DP contact coordinates the agreed scope, timing and handoff information, with a crew lead for the physical work. Tell us what records or updates your project needs during planning. Changes to inventory, access or requested services are reviewed for their effect on the work, timing and price before additional work begins.
