Do you move pianos throughout Florida and long distance?
Yes. We provide local moving throughout Florida and long-distance moving throughout the lower 48. Piano moves are planned around the instrument, pickup and delivery access, and route. Share your locations and preferred dates so we can review the arrangements.
Can you move a piano on its own?
Yes. Tell us whether you need a piano-only move or want to include the instrument in a household relocation. We will review the access and handling requirements as part of your estimate.
Can you handle stairs, elevators or difficult access?
We review stairs, elevators, high-rise buildings and tight access before scheduling. These details determine the crew, equipment and approach. Any crane-assisted move also requires advance review and confirmation of the arrangements.
Will my grand piano need partial disassembly?
It may, depending on the piano and access at the properties. We evaluate that during the pre-move review and confirm the preparation and reassembly included in your moving plan.
Do you move antique or high-value pianos?
Yes, subject to review of the instrument and access. Please share its condition, estimated value, restoration history and any special handling considerations in advance so we can plan the move appropriately.
Will DP’s own employees handle the move?
Yes. Piano handling and moving are carried out by our in-house team. We do not broker your move or use subcontracted moving labor.
What about tuning after the move?
Discuss post-move tuning with your piano technician. They can advise on the timing and care appropriate for your instrument and its new environment.
